Is it just possible that all traditional UNP supporters will return to their fold now that their much hated JVP is out?
And could the JVP regain some of their supporters since they are severing links with the Capitalists?
Unthinking chauvinists will obviously be questioning the validity of their arguments given the Rajapaksa-Fonseka rift. If the World allows the Voters to realise that a few moderates and peacenicks in Parliament will ensure Human Rights are respected, it may just be that a Fourth Force consisting of small principled parties could emerge.
But all that depends on the Elections Commissioner reverting to his old honest self.

ReplyDeletePlease World (especially Western Sphere) give only objective coverage to the "moderates". If you commence propoganda on their behalf they will be lampooned as "Lakeys of the West".
